Is ServiceBase a Wix template?
No. ServiceBase publishes a home-service page from the trade, the city, and the services the owner enters. It is not a drag-and-drop builder, and it does not host a Wix site.
For small contractors. Prices checked November 2, 2026.
ServiceBase is a free contractor page and quote list. Wix is a website builder with a free site and paid plans. What each one is for.
ServiceBase and Wix both put a page on the internet. They are not the same product. ServiceBase is a home-service storefront: the trade, the city, the services, and a quote request that stays with the owner. Wix is a general website builder. A contractor can build almost any kind of site there, and then has to write the local page themselves.
This page is for a small contractor deciding where the first public page should live. It is not a review of Wix's editor, and it is not a claim that one brand outranks the other in Google.
In this version, a ServiceBase site is free to publish. Signup is an email and a password. No card. The owner gets a public page and a list of the quote requests and promotion claims that come from it. New businesses start with $500 in marketing credits, a dollar equivalent for boosts and placements. Buying more credits is not available, and nothing is charged. Custom domains and a paid AI operator are not part of this version.
Wix lets you create a site for free and then sells premium website plans. The free Wix site is a real site, on a Wix address, with Wix branding until you upgrade. A premium plan is how you connect a domain you choose and remove that branding. Wix also sells scheduling, payments, and a large template library. Those are website features. They are not a contractor lead list with the trade and the city already structured.
Wix publishes plan prices at wix.com/plans. Reviewed November 2, 2026, the page displayed a free plan and four premium tiers in USD, for yearly subscriptions paid up front: Light at $17.77, Core at $29.77, Business at $39.77, and Business Elite at $159.77. Wix says those figures vary by location, do not include tax, and are a reference for yearly billing. Other billing periods exist. Read the purchase page before you pay. This comparison does not invent a monthly total.
ServiceBase does not have a matching plan grid. The page in this version does not require a card. That is a narrower product: no custom domain, no store, no booking calendar. If you need those, Wix is the tool that sells them. If you need a local contractor page and a list of people who asked for a quote, ServiceBase is the tool that starts there.
Neither product gets the license, the insurance, or the truck. A Wix site still has to name the towns, the jobs, and the phone number in text a customer can read. A ServiceBase site asks for those facts at signup and publishes them, including FAQ-style answers on the marketing guides and structured data on the public storefront. It will not invent a reputation.
Wix is the better fit when the business wants a custom design, a domain on day one, online payments, or a site that is not a home-service storefront. ServiceBase is the better fit when the owner wants the page up this week, the requests in one list, and no subscription while they find out if the phone rings. Many owners will eventually want both a domain and a field-service tool. Those are later purchases. They are not required to publish the first honest page.

Not in this version. Publishing the page does not require a card. Wix's premium plans are paid subscriptions, with the figures on Wix's own plans page. Custom domains are not included with ServiceBase in this version.
Use ServiceBase if the job is a local page and a quote list. Use Wix if the job is a designed site, a domain, or payments. They answer different questions. A license and insurance are still separate from both.
No. They are the USD yearly-plan figures displayed on wix.com/plans on November 2, 2026. Wix says prices vary by location and tax. Check that page before you buy.
