Every market we already cover.

How to get more roofer business

These guides cover every roofer market already on ServiceBase. Each city page uses that city's climate, housing, and neighborhoods. The work below is the part that stays true across those cities, and the season lists are built from the climate notes, not from a single national calendar.

What creates the call

Leak visits and replacements follow the local roof, not a national storm script. The season is whatever opens the roof here: hail, heat, wind, or a long rain.

An active leak gets a same-day answer about whether you can dry it in. A replacement bid can be a scheduled visit. Say which one the form is for.

A repair, a slope, and a full replacement are different prices. Do not publish a from-price copied from another state's insurance market.

Where the season actually changes

Freeze or winter markets in this set: Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Seattle, Denver, Minneapolis, Charlotte, San Diego, Philadelphia, Nashville, McAllen–Edinburg, Huntsville, Orlando, Raleigh, Salt Lake City, Boise, Washington, San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Detroit, Baltimore, St. Louis, Portland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Louisville, Virginia Beach, Richmond. Ice dams and brittle shingles are the cold-weather failure. A tile-and-monsoon page is the wrong opener.

Hot-season markets: Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Miami, Tampa, San Antonio, Lakeland–Winter Haven, Jacksonville, Riverside, New Orleans. Heat-aged underlayment, tile, and flat roofs fail differently from hail country. Name the material you see on these houses.

Inspections and planned replacements can be booked. An active leak cannot share that sentence.

Google Business Profile

Use Roofing contractor as the primary category. The city pages name the neighborhoods. Do not paste the same service area onto every city.

  • Hours match when a person answers, including nights and weekends.
  • Photos come from your jobs. Stock photos of the wrong climate are obvious.
  • The website field points at a page you control, not only a social profile.
  • Ask after the leak has stopped or the replacement has passed inspection. The review should name the neighborhood and the roof type, not 'great job'.

Reviews and mistakes

Ask after the job. Do not invent reviews or search statistics. A city page that only swaps the city name is the mistake these guides are here to prevent.

Opening with insurance claims in a city that is not a hail market.

Skipping the permit office.

Treating a repair and a replacement as one number.
