How to get more pest control business

These guides cover every pest control market already on ServiceBase. Each city page uses that city's climate, housing, and neighborhoods. The work below is the part that stays true across those cities, and the season lists are built from the climate notes, not from a single national calendar.

What creates the call

The pests follow the building and the weather. Name what you treat here, not a national top-ten list.

An infestation in a kitchen or a bedroom gets a same-day answer. A quarterly plan can be scheduled. Ask which pest and which room.

Price the visit and the plan separately. A condo and a house with a yard are not the same application.

Where the season actually changes

Freeze or winter markets in this set: Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Seattle, Denver, Minneapolis, Charlotte, San Diego, Philadelphia, Nashville, McAllen–Edinburg, Huntsville, Orlando, Raleigh, Salt Lake City, Boise, Washington, San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Detroit, Baltimore, St. Louis, Portland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Louisville, Virginia Beach, Richmond. Rodents move inside when it freezes. A summer mosquito ad is the wrong first line.

Hot-season markets: Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Miami, Tampa, San Antonio, Lakeland–Winter Haven, Jacksonville, Riverside, New Orleans. Ants, roaches, and mosquitoes follow heat and water. Say whether you treat the yard, the kitchen, or both.

A quarterly visit and a one-time infestation are different offers.

Google Business Profile

Use Pest control service as the primary category. The city pages name the neighborhoods. Do not paste the same service area onto every city.

  • Hours match when a person answers, including nights and weekends.
  • Photos come from your jobs. Stock photos of the wrong climate are obvious.
  • The website field points at a page you control, not only a social profile.
  • Ask after the follow-up visit, not from the driveway. The review should name the pest and the neighborhood. Do not write it for them.

Reviews and mistakes

Ask after the job. Do not invent reviews or search statistics. A city page that only swaps the city name is the mistake these guides are here to prevent.

A national pest list with the city dropped in.

Implying a result you cannot see on the first visit.

Skipping prep instructions until you arrive.
